Russell Investments named Multi-Manager of the Year Honour is the latest of many for Russell’s EMEA business Russell Investments has won the 2005 Multi-Manager of the Year award from Financial News, beating our competitors SEI and Stamford Asset Management. A panel of plan sponsors, trustees, fund managers and consultants voted in the competition. In honouring Russell, Financial News cited our growing European business as well as the depth and quality of Russell's EMEA funds. "The world's most renowned multi-manager organization. Large distribution agreements have contributed significantly to its book line", were the words used to introduce Russell Investments at the event. "This is a great honour and also pays a tribute to our business strategy in developing large partnerships with financial institutions," added Pascal Duval. Managing Director Institutional Investors Services Pascal Duval received the award on behalf of Russell at an awards luncheon on Oct. 27. Russell was also on the short list for Financial News' "European Asset Management Firm of the Year" award, which was the first time a multi-manager had been short-listed as being one of the best management companies of the year, without the distinction of being either a single- or multi-manager organization.
